Pressed To Death is a paper and digital space for voices unheard, and sometimes, unwanted and unwelcome. Pressed To Death will seek out, identify, and amplify marginalized and underrepresented authors and artists providing more inclusive group and community representations of our individual and collective identity.

Pressed To Death Press has been a dream of mine for many years. From my early work of conceptual writing as a teenager to my phoenix-changing years at university, and the 30-odd years of prose, fiction, and non-fiction that have poured out of my fingers until now, I have always been a writer. A creator.

Pressed To Death Press is the culmination of the emotional journey of that 12-year-old boy, thrust into life in America after growing up in Germany, the stigma and dogma of growing up queer and “other” in a world that shunned me, and a life of creativity and curiosity that has allowed me to explore and express my life in words and art.
